We are always needing more kind volunteers to help foster our furry friends at Kitty Kat Rescue & Rehoming.  Fostering cats and kittens for our local rehoming charity is genuinely rewarding in a quiet, satisfying way.

 

You give a cat or a litter of kittens a loving home for a few weeks or months—often ones that need time to grow, recover from illness, or simply learn to trust people again. It's nice seeing them gradually relax, start playing, and gain confidence.  Many fosterers say the best part is knowing you've helped prepare them for a permanent family, and it works well around jobs or other commitments since it's temporary.

The cats are in safe, supported hands the whole time. We cover all the costs—food, litter, vet care, medications—so there's no out-of-pocket expense for you. You'll get proper training upfront, plus ongoing advice from our team whenever you need it, and there's a friendly group of other fosterers to share tips with. When your foster cat heads off to their new home, it feels good knowing you've made a real difference.
